Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

These terms explain what you can expect when using Eatouts and what we ask from you in return. By using the site you agree to these terms.

This page is platform terms information for diners using Eatouts. It is general information, not legal advice. Restaurant partners should also read /restaurant-terms.

Use of Eatouts

Eatouts is a free-to-use directory and discovery platform for restaurants, cafes, bars and dining experiences across Australia. We make the site available on an as-is basis.

Restaurant information may change

Menus, prices, opening hours, deals, contact details and booking links are sourced from venues, partners and public information, and they can change without notice. Always confirm key details directly with the restaurant before visiting.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee the availability, prices, menus, deals, booking outcomes or quality of any restaurant listed on the platform. Listings and editorial content reflect our best understanding at a point in time.

Your responsibilities

  • Use the site lawfully and in good faith.
  • Do not attempt to scrape, overload or attack the platform.
  • Do not submit false claim or enquiry information.
  • Treat venues, staff and other users respectfully.

Third-party links

Eatouts links to third-party websites such as restaurant booking systems, menus and maps. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or terms.

Restaurant profile accuracy

We rely on a mix of partner-supplied data, owner-claimed updates and editorial review. If you spot something incorrect on a profile, please let us know via /contact so we can review it.

Deals and offers

Deals shown on Eatouts are provided by venues. Terms, redemption rules and availability are set by the venue and may change at any time. Always confirm the current offer with the restaurant before relying on it.

Intellectual property

The Eatouts brand, site design and editorial content are owned by Eatouts or our partners. Restaurant logos, photos and menus remain the property of their respective owners.

Prohibited use

  • Posting unlawful, defamatory, harassing or misleading content.
  • Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with a venue.
  • Automated scraping, bulk downloading or reverse engineering of the platform.
  • Interfering with security features or access controls.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Eatouts is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including missed bookings, deal disappointment or third-party venue issues.

Changes to the platform

We may add, remove or change features, listings and content at any time without notice.

For questions about this policy, contact the Eatouts team via /contact. We aim to respond within two business days.
